Rain hammered me for two hours on my commute and everything inside stayed bone dry thanks to the welded shell. The little air valve on the inner dry bag is a neat touch, you just roll it and squeeze the excess out so it packs down tight.

Took this on a 3-day gravel trip and the removable dry bag with the compression valve is genius — I squeezed all the air out and my sleeping bag stayed bone dry through a full day of rain. The hard shell doesn't budge even when the bag's packed heavy.

I've had this on my commuter for a couple months now and the removable dry bag is the part I appreciate most — I just unclip it and carry it inside instead of hauling the whole thing. That compression valve actually squishes the air out, so my spare layer fits way flatter than I expected.
