The textured knit on this base layer traps heat way better than my old smooth merino, and the snug race fit means no bunching under a jersey. Rode it down to about 8°C with just a vest over top and stayed comfortable the whole time.

I’ve worn it for a few chilly morning rides and the fit is snug without feeling restrictive, which I appreciate for layering. The recycled fabric has that subtle textured knit that traps warmth nicely while still letting me move freely on the bike.

The texture on this base layer is what sold me—it's got that ribbed feel that traps heat without making me overheat mid-ride. I've worn it through chilly October mornings and it's handled the temperature swings perfectly. My only wish is that it came in more colors.
