This layer breathes so well that I didn’t overheat even while hiking uphill, and the insulation kept me warm during breaks in the wind. It packs down tiny in my bag too.

The Primaloft Active Evolve insulation is incredibly breathable — I wore it on a chilly morning hike and never felt clammy even when I started sweating. It’s so lightweight I almost forgot I had it on under my shell. Perfect for active mountain days.

I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight this mid layer feels — I barely notice I'm wearing it, yet it keeps me warm during chilly morning hikes. The breathability is excellent too; I didn't overheat even when I was climbing steep sections.
